Food Delivery Delays Causing Change to Lunch Menus

The district Food Service committee met last week to discuss issues of delayed or cancelled deliveries and substantial prices increases to food products, factors plaguing the food service industry across the country. The Food Service Department has had to alter menus this fall and due to these factors, we will be going to a 1 main entrée option for Elementary and 2 main entrée options for MS/HS. The snack cart will still be available for now for MS/HS purchase. We continue talking with our food representative that the costs will go up even more and being able to get the products will be the challenge. Students with special dietary needs will continue have those needs met. The October menu’s will be out by the beginning of next week and posted on our website. Thank you for your continued support.
