Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
On behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff at Hot Springs High School, we welcome you to High School. For 9th Graders, they are to report to school August 21st. at 7:52 am and will be released at 1:30 pm the first week; after this, the normal release time is 3:51 pm.
On the 21st, students will receive his/her schedule, discuss pertinent school rules, and participate in several team-building activities. Remember to dress school appropriate as this is a school day, you may also want to bring a clear water bottle, as there are many outside activities. There will also be a barbecue lunch provided for you. We ask only that parents and guardians contribute a salad or dessert to complete our orientation lunch.
- Students with the last name A-M are asked to please bring a dessert.
- Students with the last name N-Z are asked to please bring a salad.
(Food should be dropped off at the high school office prior to 11:00 am the day of orientation and in a throw away container as they will not be returned)
Freshmen – Monday, August 21, 2017, at 7:52 am, students are to meet in the Case Auditorium for a short welcome meeting to prepare them for the rest of the day. Class t-shirts will be distributed at this time. The Freshmen will not be having school on Tuesday August 22nd but will start back on Wednesday, August 23rd.
***An Ed-Camp for 9th Grader's parents will be held in the Tay’s Center beginning at 5:30 pm on the 21st. At this time, we will focus on various issues such as filling out and updating registration paperwork.***
